Rules and Procedures

A summary schedule of ONLINE tournaments will be available on the provincial websites while a complete schedule will be posted on the Canadian website (note that it is the official calendar posted on PartyPoker which will prevail)

It should be noted that all packages to be won ONLINE on PartyPoker will never interfere with the packages won in our venues. On the contrary, after the deadline of the venue qualifications for our major events in casinos has passed, additional seats will be available through some ONLINE satellite tournaments.

Most tournaments will be accessible and open to all members. However, many of these tournaments will be private tournaments, where access has been won through the regular League tournaments in one of our venues.

Several tournaments will also give access to bounty type finals where packages for casinos will be offered. At some tournaments, you will just need to eliminate either André Boyer or Pierre Martel to gain access to these bounty type finals (other bounties will be added as well to several other tournaments... stay tuned!).

The numbers in the title / name of the CNPTL online tournaments are there to help players find their way through the different tournaments announced in the tournament schedule and in the diagram.

PartyPoker tournaments will be played on the PartyPoker platform in the "Special - tournaments" section.

There are two types of tournaments: (F) Freeroll and (P) Pay-to-Play.

Tournaments in blue: indicate special one day events open to all, with guaranteed prizes for that day and might also include entries to other tournaments of significance (F and P).

Tournaments in black: indicate tournaments open to all (F and P).

Tournaments in green: indicate closed events, accessible only to players who won their seat through regular League tournaments in one of our venues (F and qualified in venues only).

Example: each month, all players who have a valid average (minimum of 8 tournaments) in the "Player of the Month" section will win a free tournament on a monthly basis where many packages for casinos will be available.

IMPORTANT: Each member who qualified in a venue will be informed of the password and date of the tournament by email as well as in his CNPTL Player Profile.

Tournaments in red: indicate the different finals from different categories (F)

Several tournaments will be accessible through a password available before each tournament via the ONLINE tournament schedule on the Canadian League’s website.

Any player who is not qualified for a tournament and is caught playing in it will automatically be suspended from the Canada Poker Tournament League.

ATTENTION: Each member will be responsible to enter their PartyPoker screen name in their CNPTL account/profil via the Step 3 – Account section while respecting the case (uppercase, lowercase and numbers that may apply).
