ONLINE Tournaments
The majority of ONLINE tournaments on PartyPoker will not conflict with League tournaments in our venues.
All tournaments are exclusive to players who are members of the Canada Poker Tournament League (CNPTL). To play, you must be a member of the CNPTL and it's free. However, to have access to the "Finals and Prizes", the member must subscribe to the Poker Tour Management (PTG) scoring system at a cost of $20 per season (October 1st to September 30th) and this before the tournament in question.
The PartyPoker tournaments will be played in the section "tournament - special" of the PartyPoker software.
Furthermore, for any new PartyPoker account, with the first $25 minimum cash deposit into your PartyPoker account, the League will deposit an additional $20 in your account with no additional requisite. For those that already have a PartyPoker account, please contact us at PartyPoker@cnptl.com to see if special arrangements are possible with PartyPoker.
You will also benefit from an exceptional 100% bonus, up to $500 when making your first deposit. You just need to install the PartyPoker Software in Step 2 - Installation or use the bonus code CNPTL.
To participate and take advantage of offers, promotions and bonuses offered by the league, after May 1st 2010, you must install the PartyPoker software through our link in Step 2 - Installation or use our code CNPTL when installing the PartyPoker software if it was downloaded from another website. If you have installed your PartyPoker Software through another site after May 1st 2010, please notify us at PartyPoker@cnptl.com
To participate in ONLINE tournaments, the player, member of the CNPTL must have a PartyPoker account and link his PartyPoker screen name to his CNPTL account/profile.
IMPORTANT NOTE : If you only want to participate in the League's freerolls on Party Poker, you can do so without depositing any money into your PartyPoker account, however, you MUST register in the "Cashier" section by completing the information requested. You will not have to deposit money to play in the freerolls only. This is usually not permitted on PartyPoker but given our agreement with them, PartyPoker allows CNPTL players to do it but this promotion will only be valid for a period of two months from your date of eligibility to play tournaments for free. It can take about a week before you're able to play the freerolls without making a deposit. However, the player who makes a deposit has access to the League's free tournaments on PartyPoker at all times.
Steps to follow to register the PartyPoker software and link your PartyPoker username to your CNPTL account/profile:

It’s very easy… You just need to associate yourself with one of the following situations and follow the steps.
Situation A: I am not a CNPTL member and I don’t have a PartyPoker account
Situation B: I am not a CNPTL member and I have a PartyPoker account
Situation C: I am a member of the CNPTL and I don’t have a PartyPoker account
Situation D: I am a member of the CNPTL and I have a PartyPoker account
Situation A: I am not a CNPTL member and I don’t have a PartyPoker account
1) First, you must become a CNPTL member for free via the homepage of the CNPTL website of your current province of residence.
2) Then, you have to download the PartyPoker software from the Step 2 – Installation section.
3) You must then link your PartyPoker user name with your CNPTL account/profile through the Step 3 - Account section.
ATTENTION: If you download the software from the PartyPoker website, you must enter the code "CNPTL" when registering.
Note: When you link your PartyPoker user name with your CNPTL account/profil, you will have to indicate if you were already, prior to May 1st 2010, a member of PartyPoker.
Situation B: I am not a CNPTL member and I have a PartyPoker account

Situation D: I am a member of the CNPTL and I have a PartyPoker account
Step 01: You simply need to link your PartyPoker user name with your CNPTL account/profile through the Step 3 - Account section.
Note: When you link your PartyPoker user name with your CNPTL account/profil, you will have to indicate if you were already, prior to May 1st 2010, a member of PartyPoker.
This section contains instructions for installing the PartyPoker software on your computer. The download process should start automatically. Important: After the installation is finished and the creation of your PartyPoker screen name is completed, you must link your PartyPoker screen name to your CNPTL account / profile in Step 3 - Account section.
A. Download
The software should download automatically. If it doesn't, click here to start the process.
The window below will appear. Click ‘Run’.
If a confirmation dialog window pops up, just hit ‘Run’ againB. Install
Once the software has downloaded, the installer will appear to guide you through the installation process.
C. Create account
The PartyPoker.com software will open automatically once the installation has completed. It looks like this:
If you can't see these screens, click the PartyPoker.com tab which will appear in your toolbar as shown below. 
To join the fun, simply open your account and start playing!
Linking your PartyPoker screen name to your CNPTL account/profile
To be eligible for prizes and CNPTL qualifications during your PartyPoker activities, you must link your PartyPoker screen name to your CNPTL profile/account. If you do not have a CNPTL account/profile, please register on the CNPTL website of your current province before continuing with the next steps. Once registered, you can proceed according to the different methods:
Important: If you already are a member of the CNPTL, you do not have to create another CNPTL account/profile.
Attention: Each member will be responsible to enter their PartyPoker screen name while respecting the case (uppercase, lowercase and numbers that may apply).
Method A - Profile
If you are registered on one of the CNPTL provincial websites, you can log in to your account. Once logged in, click "Edit your profile".
Click "Update Profile" and simply enter your PartyPoker screen name in the "PartyPoker screen name" box. Then click on the "Update" button to apply the changes.
Method B - Email
If you are registered on the CNPTL website and a valid email is associated with your account, you can also link your PartyPoker screen name to your CNPTL account by email. To do this, please fill out the form below and click "Submit". An email containing instructions to complete the process will be sent to you. Note that you must enter the email address associated with your CNPTL account/profile. If you have no email address associated with your profile you cannot proceed this way. Please wait a few minute in order to receive a confirmation email before trying the next method. You do not have to follow the method C if the method B was successful.
